"Let us be the change we expect to see in the world"-Mahatma Gandhi.
"For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness"(1 Thessalonians 4:7).
"Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God"(2 Corinthians 7:1).
Cleanliness is next to godliness! After spiritual cleanliness it is the physical cleanliness to be observed.Cleanliness and tidiness is an important part of our testimony to others.
Famous quote by the father of our nation Mahatma Gandhi |
Happy Gandhi Jayanthi! Le us welcome the idea of Swach Bharat (Clean India & Green India).
As an inspiration it is every citizens duty to safeguard the cleanliness and greenness at our environment.Swach Bharat starts with the change in every persons thinking towards environment. We are to protect our environment.Feel it humble to pour water in the washrooms when you see the unhygienic surrounding the area. Feel it humble every time to take time to pour water and clean the surface and washrooms even it is used by some other people at the office/home/temples not only on Gandhi Jayanthi but everytime. This makes us feel to be part of Swach Bharat.
To wipe-out the mistakes,cleaning the
dirt of other people is also our responsibility towards Swach Bharat. Sanitation was very close to the heart of independence hero Gandhi who used to clean latrines himself at a time when there were no flush toilets in the country. Our PM is the first person to talk on the sanitation and of providing the toilets. He has stressed the importance of sanitation in almost all his public speeches since his May victory, vowing to make India clean by 2019, to coincide with the 150th birth anniversary of Gandhi. This is the major issue we are facing in India.Do not feel ashamed to discuss such an important issues which the nation is facing as a part of cleanliness to transform the nation.
