HAPPY REPUBLICDAY GREETINGS TO ALL!

DAVID THE BRAVE SHEPHERD!

Unknown | Thursday, January 21, 2010 | Best Blogger Tips 1 Comment so far

The Victorious Life……..

1 Samuel 17:24-47; The Philistine army was ready to fight. Merely a boy, David traveled from his home to the battlefront in order to check on his brothers and supply them with food. There, he heard the notorious Goliath threaten Israel. The young Israelite was outraged: Who was this giant to challenge the Lord's army? David sensed God's direction and obeyed. A battle ensued between a giant and a boy, but the almighty God stood with the youth. Goliath, along with the entire Philistine army, was defeated. This is truly an amazing story--we rarely hear of anything this miraculous in our world today. But we, like David, can live triumphantly, even in the midst of terrifying and "impossible" circumstances. First, we need to understand success from the Lord's perspective: Goals should align with Scripture; then our heavenly Father directs us, and we follow with confidence. Second, we--like David--ought to have a clear picture of what needs to be accomplished. Good goals should be clear enough to write in a sentence or two. For example, David's aim was to free God's people from their enemies. Our goals may be huge and lifelong, like modeling dependence on Jesus for our children,to live cent percent in Divine Viewpoint of life fulfilling Viewpoint, Operational & Geographical will of God in our lives. Some times we may have to face tuff situations in our lives but truly depending on prayer mixed with faith we can achieve the will of God in our lives.Whether facing a daunting challenge like David's or an easier undertaking, you should live intentionally. Ask the Lord for direction and purpose as you write down goals, both big and small. The same God who led David in victory desires to lead you today.

BE LIKE AN EGG !

Unknown | Sunday, January 17, 2010 | Best Blogger Tips Be the first to comment!

“The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.” (Prov 28:1)
Carrot and an Egg to examine!A student complained to his learned teacher about the difficulties he has to endure in his life. He came from a very poor family and had to look after his home and support his aged and sick parents and his younger siblings by working hard every day after the classes in school while his wealthy class-mates could play and rest without any stress or strain. He was almost exhausted and had even thought about committing suicide. The wise teacher gave him a carrot and an egg to examine. He was asked to comment on their hardness. He said that the carrot was sufficiently hard that it cannot be crushed by hands. The egg could be easily cracked and the liquid contents would leak out with ease. Then the teacher put the carrot and egg together in a pan, added some water to cover the articles and then boiled the water over the flame. After some time, the teacher took out the articles from the pan and asked for the comments of the student. The boy observed that the carrot, which was hard earlier, had become very soft after boiling. The egg, on the other hand, became very hard during the boiling. Its contents had solidified and now would not flow out even when the shell is shattered. The teacher told the boy, “Earlier, you were like the carrot. Your courage and strength of mind were lost when you were exposed to the hard realities of life. You became weak and could be smashed easily.” Next, he displayed the egg and told, “Be like the egg. You are soft and tender by nature, but the adversities of life should make you bolder and stronger. Then you can gain the courage to face any harsh moments with confidence.” He then narrated the biography of successful persons who could overcome the hard times of early life with confidence and earnest efforts. Bible tells in John 12:24, a grain of wheat remains no more than a single grain unless it is dropped into the ground and dies. If it does die, then it produces many grains”.
“So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me” (Heb 13:6).

HEIGHT DOESN’T MATTER!
This Article is Presented by me to the question raised by few American Christians on the Chrisitian Dating website (CDFF.com) FORUM by the Title
Does height really matter? Would you marry a short guy?
Posted : 15 Dec, 2009 11:33 PM

I Do believe that Height should not become impotant in matimony. We see that many affluent and leaders of the world married woman who were taller than their height.

For eg:

1.Nicholas sarkozy the president of France married Carla Bruni who is taller than him. What's wrong!

2.World famous Writer Mr.Slaman Rushdie married padmalakshmi godrej who is taller than him what's wrong!

3.In India Congress party chairman daughter Priyanka Gandhi married Robert wadhera who is shorter than her. What’s wrong! they are leading a happy life.

Many Hi-Fi Personalities with the combination of Shorter men married Taller women.

Marriages are made in heaven but maintained on the earth! We need to look at the real person Inside the body not the outer ones.Is any father or mother thinks that their children shouldn't grow taller than them?If they think in that way is not it uncomfortable?Indeed every parent desires that their children should grow in every aspect of their life more than they are achieved. And if we love our spouse,we need to think in the same sphere.

I believe that it is the personality of inner man which should be Important and the basics. Why always men should be higher than women? why women should not be higher than men?I believe when God Created Adam and Eve he might have

created equally proportioned in Height & in Age.But the choice rests with us.A person's 1.Oneness In God 2.Oneness in mind, character &commitment is the essential ingredients in a christian marriage.

when people of this world are marrying eachother not bothering regading height why we christians should bother about our height and make it a critical issue in the marriage.

Tall Women with Short Men !

Here is an excellent informative Excerpt by Tall corina.Read it and Enjoy!
Do tall women like short men?

Yes, women like short men or tall men and all types of men. Most women prefer a man to be taller because of social expectations but when it comes down whether they like a man or not...his height won't be the most important quality in her attraction to a man. Men give more importance to "certain look" than women do. I heard many men told me they would date only thin women or said they only get sexually attracted to thin women.

As far as women, I never heard a woman say she gets attracted only to tall men or only to muscular men. Women's sexuality isn't as visual, where as in men, visual attraction plays a lot bigger role. If you are a short men, you don't have to worry about woman's sexual attraction, it's more in her mind than in her eyes.

Tall woman with short men is Sexy!:

Yes, tall women with short men look very sexy, it's so rare and very attractive. You can see many celebrities where a man is a lot shorter than a woman. Look at the pictures of tall men and women in this article "Why do tall women love little men?" It's so beautiful to see a tall woman with a with a short man. Tall women turn peoples heads who eager to look at them and when a tall woman with much shorter man they turn heads even more.

Many rich and famous men dated very tall women and in our society tall is equal to beauty, model type looking, so no surprise why rich men and go for tall women too. If a man and a woman secure enough in who they are, it won't matter how tall they are either.

Experience with short men in my life:

In my article Dating as a Tall Girl you can read more about my dating experience.
I can tell you it was great to date short men also, girls can easily fall in love with a short man too.
I never felt uncomfortable dating short guys. I always dated many men at that time in my search for my soul mate. Those men put so much effort in getting my attention, asking me out, being so nice and affectionate maybe that's why I never felt uncomfortable with them.
They made me feel loved, welcomed and appreciated that I was always happy around them.
Usually I think I prefer taller men but when I meet a short man who I really like I could easily forget about all my preferences and expectations.

Short Husband:

Maybe you wonder if my husband is a tall man or not. My husband and I are about the same height but I don't consider him to be tall at all. Mostly, because when we are around people, people usually tell me "Wow, you are so tall!" but they never tell it to my husband even that we are similar height! So, he isn't tall at all, but it's o'kay. Very often I look even taller than he is because of my shoes and because I'm a woman. You know, women aren't expected to be my height... I always thought before I probably would marry a taller man, but I was wrong.
I found so many attractive qualities in him that it wasn't even a question in my mind whether I want to be with him or not. I married him even that he is not the tallest men I dated. He has unique qualities that I can't find in anyone. His wonderful character is more important than his lack of height. We have been married for many years already.

My sister is married to a man who is the same height as her as well (she is about 5'9 tall and her husband is similar height also). So, there are many women who want to marry a man that is not taller than her.

-Tall Corina

Finally My dear Brothers & Sisters We need to Orient to the following Divine viewpoint of the Bible.Inorder to fullfill the viewpoint will of God and Operational will of God in our day to day christians lives it is mandatory for us to see the intrinsic values of people rather than adhering the extrinsic appearance of a people.

"But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart" (I Sam 16:7).

"Then hear in heaven Your dwelling place, and forgive and act and render to each according to all his ways, whose heart You know, for You alone know the hearts of all the sons of men" (I Kings 8:39).

"As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts, and understands every intents of the thoughts......" (I chronicles 28:9).

And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts; for that which is highly esteemed among men is detestable in the sight of God" (Luke 16:15).

"Every man's way is right in his own eyes,But the LORD weighs the hearts" ( Prov 21:2).

HELPING HAND!

Unknown | Monday, January 11, 2010 | Best Blogger Tips Be the first to comment!

Helping Hand……….

One night, at 11:30 PM, an older African American woman was standing on the side of an Alabama highway trying to endure a lashing rain storm. Her car had broken down and she desperately needed a ride. Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car. A young white man stopped to help her - generally unheard of in those conflict-filled 1960s. The man took her to safety, helped her get assistance and put her into a taxi cab. She seemed to be in a big hurry! She wrote down his address, thanked him and drove away. Seven days went by and a knock came on the man's door. To his surprise, a giant console color TV was delivered to his home. A special note was attached. It read: "Thank you so much for assisting me on the highway the other night. The rain drenched not only my clothes but my spirits. Then you came along. Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying husband's bedside just before he passed away. God bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving others." Bible tells us in Matthew 7:12, "Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you". Offer help to anyone who needs it, Thank others for helping you. If you help someone, someone will help you. Treat people the way you want them to treat you. If everyone bears that in mind, there will be joy & peace, We will really experience heaven on this planet earth.

“Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you “( Hosea 10:12).

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Gal 6:7).

NEW YEAR 2010

BRIDGES OF BLESSING…………

A young girl who was traveling on train for the first time heard that it would have to cross several rivers. She was troubled and fearful as she thought of the water. But each time the train came to a river, a bridge was always there to provide a safe way across. After passing safely over several rivers and stream, the girl settled back in her seat with a sign of relief. Then she turned to her mother and said, “I’m not worried anymore. Somebody has put the bridges for us all the way!” When we come to deep rivers of trial and the streams of sorrow, we too will find that God in His grace “has put bridges for us all the way.” So we need not fall into hopelessness and anxiety. In delightful though often untraceable ways, He will meet our needs. We can be sure that He will provide a way. Those who have given their situations over to God can exclaim with the psalmist, “The Lord is righteous in all His ways and gracious in all His works…The Lord preserves all who love Him” (Psalm 145: 17, 20).

PRAYER for the year 2010…………

Lets thank God; For every blessing what He has done and every bridge what he is made to overcome the trials and tribulations in the year 2009, Lets pray; God we come to your throne of Grace and mercy, We come to You seeking Your protection and Your goodness for the entire new year 2010, often harried and driven by life's pressures and temptations. But we come to You, not demanding, but submitting our self’s to be used for your glory -- not just today, but for the rest of my life. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen!.

OPEN THE DOORS OF THE TEMPLE!

Unknown | Friday, January 01, 2010 | Best Blogger Tips Be the first to comment!

As I was thinking during the last days of the year ending. What would I will do for the coming new year 2010?.Will it be bubbly sober for me? I prayed God to give me revelation and wisdom during the contemporary troubled Socio-political situation in the state and of course even of the world. As I enquired God! What resolutions need to be made for the next year? It was always surprise to see that God has some resolutions to be made and fulfilled by his children.

In (2 Chron 28 chapter) we see Mr.Ahaz became a King of Judah and reigned t for over 16 years. Regarding his rule God said:

“Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: but he did not that which was right in the sight of the LORD, like David his father: For he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and made also molten images for Baalim. (2 Chron 28:1-2).

God always wants his children to live a life with a pleasing personality in His sight. Where do we get this spiritual Insight of the Divine? It is from his voice of the Bible “The Mind of Christ”.
The reason for the treason of Ahaz is that he followed the examples and samples of the previous kings of Israel. Ahaz didn’t followed the sight of the LORD rather became self –Righteous Pharasee, arrogant leader of Judah imitating his previous wicked carnal minded, ungrace oriented kings of Judah.Ahaz declined in his spiritual standards,Compassion,Accountability,Humility,Integrity, sincerity, stewardship, commitment,Deligent Service to the Nation. No matter whatever the position held by us, it is Divinely Mandated that we should think Biblically, talk Biblically and also to perform Biblically as light and salt to the World. When God weighs us we should not underweigh the Biblical principles in our day to day Christian lives.

We see Nations/Societies/Missions/Ministries that become complacent and forget God would come to the point of deterioration because of the Negative volition towards God. Many have fallen in the History like Nebuchadnezzar of Chaldean Empire, the Nero of Roman Empire the Fuhrer Adolph Hitler, Mao Zedong, Stalin, and Bennito Mussolini because of the Negative volition. And soon the one The Anti-Christ is going to fall at the battle of “ARMAGEDDON” because of the Negative Volition.

There existed Negative Volition in Ahaz and he did detestable things

“Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burnt his children in the fire, after the abominations of the heathen whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel. He sacrificed also and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree”. (2 Chron 28:3-4).

So God decided to put him under trouble to be defeated before his enemies. Even after God humbling his arrogance he didn’t repent, humbled and was not faithful to his Master, fearful to his creator, thankful to his Provider rather was bitter in his Heart.

”And in the time of his distress did he trespass yet more against the LORD: this is that king Ahaz.”(2 Chron 28:22).

He closed the Temple of God and took the valuable items of the temple and gave it as a tribute to the King of Assyria a Non-believer. But even this didn’t help him.How sad, heartening to see today that people working in the Divine vineyard misusing, stealing the Divine property and giving it to others/Non-believers. How sad to see the so called Bible thumpers, Tele Evangelists, Doctors & Reverends giving precious Divine legacy to cine singers, politicians etc.As a good steward in the Divine Vineyard we are accountable, responsible to God for every small thing entrusted to us.

In (2 Chron 28:24-25) “And Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God, and cut in pieces the vessels of the house of God, and shut up the doors of the house of the LORD, and he made him altars in every corner of Jerusalem. And in every several city of Judah he made high places to burn incense unto other gods, and provoked to anger the LORD God of his fathers”. We see Ahaz broke the Utensils of God, shut the doors of the temple, stopped the worships and setup pagan worship.

Exactly by this time of negative volition God raised Prophets/prophetess. This time God raised Hezekiah even the own son of King Ahaz.

“And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father had done” (2 Chron 29:2).

We see Hezekiah had positive volition. He did everything which was pleasing in the sight of the LORD, just as his ancestor David had done. How wonder to see a beautiful Grace oriented person born of a wicked person. As if a Martin Luther King jr. was born to the Fuhrer Adolph Hitler.
In the very First NEW Month of First New Year of His reign!

I. Hezekiah Re-opened the doors of the temple of the LORD and repaired them.Re-Opening spiritually signifies:

A. Our Body is the temple of God! “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” (I Cor 3:16).

B. We need to open our Hearts! “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me”. (Rev 3:20).

Literally applying if our service to the LORD is in closed position we need to open the doors of our Ministry service. Giving room for more activities like eradicating

a) Physiological poverty
b) Psychological poverty
c) Spiritual poverty

Can be done by opening the doors of His kingdom and Righteousness in this sinful world.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”(Matt 6:33).

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen!”(Matt 28:18-20).

Literal repairing signifies amending the laws, correcting/punishing the evil doers and carnal men. This can be done by doing the right thing in a right manner. As we move forward with this vision God will lead us with his wisdom to repair the things which need to be repaired.

“In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Col 2:3).

King Hezekiah was associated with priests and Levites. We see he moved with them and encouraged them to purify themselves and the temple of God. He ordered to remove all the defiled things from the sanctuary.

“And said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place” (2 chron 29:5).

This spiritually signifies us to remember to remove any Mental, verbal and overt sins hindering us.

“For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man”(Mark 7:21-23).

“O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?” (Jer 4:14).

Also Literally removing the defiled things means, removal or termination of carnal,Unbelievers, insincere, indisciplined,Unfaithful, disobedient,Unthankful riot mongers even after giving them sufficient chances to corrected. We are instructed:

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty” (2 Cor 6:14-18).

II. In (2 Chron 29:11) we see Hezekiah strongly encouraged the fully committed Levites for the ministry of the lord. How good it is for us to have the opportunity to uplift the committed people in the ministry as the Levites had whole life commitment for the fulltime service of the LORD.

We are commanded to do good unto All especially to those who are the household of the lord. “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith” (Gal 6:10).

III. In (2 chron 29:18) we see the temple Re-dedication. Spiritually it signifies to purify our bodies and spirits.

“Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God” (2 Cor 7:1)

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service” (Rom 12:1).

Last year we might have failed in our commitments and dedicating ourselves in many aspects. It was heartening to see that we might have failed to meet cent percent our expectations, goals, resolutions.we may have achieved at least 40-50% in every aspect of our life. We should not be discouraged or disappointed to see that things didn’t moved in favor of us. We might have set goals rightly but the circumstances might ruined our hopes. Whatever the situations we had experienced, it is better to leave the past. How wonder to see that god is giving us a brand new year .I used to think why every year a New Year but now understood that this New Year is granted to make right decisions in our lives, thus Glorifying God in our attempts for the coming years. So friends whatever the situations of this year, “Hope for the best and prepare for the worst “situations in our lives. It would be better if we could achieve nearly 60-70% of our goals.

· This year winter might be disappointment to wake up early in the morning
· This year might have lost self control having sumptuous meals at parties, banquets, functions
· There might be constant break-ups in doing exercises rigorously.
· There might be privations troubled you a lot
· There might be some mental, Verbal and overt attitudes hindered our spiritual growth.
· Here is the beautiful saying of the apostle Paul:

"Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Phil 3:12-14).

"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds"(Heb 12:1-3). But now Re-dedicating ourselves with great cause is the grace given opportunity of God.

IV. Along with Rededication Hezekiah taught his people to be thankful to the LORD by bringng sacrifices and thanksgiving offering to the lord.

“Then Hezekiah answered and said, now ye have consecrated yourselves unto the LORD, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the LORD. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings” (2 chron 29:31).

It is important for us to be thankful to the lord for what he had done to us and doing to us in future.

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”(I Thess 5:18).

We should also remember that as beneficiaries in Divine vineyard we need to be on the forefront of benefiters to the vineyard of LORD.

CONCLUSION:

In the final verses of (2 chron 29:36) the people rejoiced and everything was accomplished quickly. When we do the things which pleases in the sight of the Lord our things/works will be accomplished quickly.

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Phil 2:13).

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen”. (Eph 3:20-21).

May God Bless this New Year 2010 be a year of re-dedication and rejoicing!
