Introduction: There exists lot of Debate over the star of David,many people tried to say that it is an ocuult symbol.I found that people who make such argument may have their choice but it cannot be made ultimatum.However we see the cross of Christ has become the symbol of christianity,some tried to worship it and some tried to use it as a magical symbol to cast out the Demons.Most of the Hollywood scary movies highlight the cross of christ as a symbol of power.I want to say that rather than the symbol of christ it would be meaningful of what really the cross means,it means the redemption of mankind’s original sin by the substitutionary sacrificial death of Lord Jesus Christ.Some use it for worship and may use it for the magical source to cast out demons.The cross is the curse according to roman customs. Anyone who is hung on a tree is under God's curse." (Deut. 21:23). “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”(Gal 3:13). The death on the cross is a punishment to the gruesome criminals of those days roman empire.The cross got its value by the adherence of christ death on it.The cross wouldn’t have any value if christ died on it.Christ is the meaning,Christ is the answer.The follwing verses better explain the love of christ on the cross and christinas are never to ignore it and can derive much comfort from this verses. "He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up "for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered." No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God[shown on the calvary cross] that is in Christ Jesus our Lord"(Rom 8:32-39) . In the similar way the Star of david’smight have the occultic misutilization but the same star is ascribed to the divine connection.The meaning of the Star of David is very much important to us rather than its background.Because christ was adressed as a star.When christ born in Bethlehem it was the star which led the magi to the birth place of christ.So as far as we live it should be respected as a honorable symbol as the symbol like Cross.
