Now the Board is placed at KING of Jeshurun Assembly. |
God uses different kinds of media to deliver his message to us when we are seeking His guidance. He talk through his people and will talk to us through nature and sometimes through the circumstances. The Board which contained the word of God was found in the dustbin near to our locality during last month where my parents got it while they were passing by the road.It was 8pm in the evening but suddenly their eyes glanced at the abandoned Board which contained the word of God.This boards are generally made by the Hebron church (Bro.Bakth Singh Fellowship) and will be used by all the denominations in India. We don’t know the reasons why the word of God was abandoned. Even the Board was in a good condition.
This is the time where my family was constantly seeking for the divine guidance so that God will encourage us and comfort us through His word.It made a great impact and encouragement in our family.
These are the verses contained on the board.
1.” I will put my dwelling place among you, and I will not abhor you” (Lev 26:11).
2. “He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him”(Psalm 91:15).
3.” …… I will also write on him my new name” (Rev 3:12).
Let us meditate on the verses:
God has longed to dwell among people it is His desire that eventhough He is a great God still he wants to dwell among us.He desired to dwell with Adam and Eve, Noah, Enoch, Abel, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses,Joshua, David ,Daniel and Apostles. When people dwell under tents he expressed His desire to have a tent for him and instructed Moses to built a tent for Him.” His tent is in Salem, his dwelling place in Zion. ... His abode has been established in Salem, his dwelling place in Zion. ... “ (Psalm 76:2).After that King David and Solomon built a great temple of God but that temple had been constantly under attack by different kings due to negative volition and breaking God’s Law. “They burned your sanctuary to the ground; they defiled the dwelling place of your Name” (Psalm 74:7).
Ultimately God started dwelling Among us like us."So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father's one and only Son”(John 1:14).
Because God's children are human beings--made of flesh and blood--the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death” (Heb 2:14).
Those who accepted Christ are the temple of God:
"What? know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own?” (I Cor 6:19-20).
As we are temple of God need to be a living sacrifice for him
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will” (Rom 12:1).
If we do His will it is the privilege of every believer’s prayers will be answered:
“He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him”(Psalm 91:15).
“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you” (John 15:7).
Dear reader as you read this message take it a honor to invite the Almighty who became God-Man as Jesus into your heart as he is loving and desiring to be with you forever and ever to give you His new Name and new Life In Christ replacing the oldman by His substitutionary death on the cross.
“Then Jesus came to them and said,
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matt 28:16-20).
