Father got  money after selling property MEANS! MEANINGLESS! MOTIVES!-Part-2 "Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil. Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins"(James 4:13-17). It is true that people today are running after riches of this world but they cannot get contentment. Often times riches brings misery and most often desiring them would bring great distress in life. phil 4:11-12 The Bible says Love of  money is the root cause of all evil it is so true that desire wof money is growing day by day. There is beautiful narration of how the craving for riches will bring miseries in the lives of humanity. There was a poor man doing labour work and was earning daily wages living with contentment. As he earned money, he thought of buying some cattle and sell the milk.He had a nice relationship with the people in the near by villages and he did selling milk to people.With in short span of time he earned a lot of money by selling milk and started purchasing paddy fields, agricultural farm lands and industries. As the rate of the realestate of his purchased land boomed he got offers of rs 3 lacs per acre with the land he bought for 3 thousand per acre.So he became realtor and selled all the land and earned huge profits in lakhs and crores.He grown from labour to businessman, Realtor and Multi millionaire. He will never leave you nor forsake you Days passed by his sons grown and started fighting for the holdings of their father.They developd enimity because of the wealth and maintained gangs,sued I the courts to possess sole proprietorship. As the squabble increased day by day the father went to make peace between them but this sons as fighting among themselves stabbed their father in between with frustration thinking that he was the reason for all this misery. The father died their itself and the riches he earned have become the annoyance for his death. Sri Adhi sankaracharya beautifully illustrate an ode in his “Bajagovindam” saying:                                                                                                                          “Ardhamanardham bhavayanithyam Nasthi thatha sukhalesha satyam Puthradaphi dhana bajambithi sarvathraisha vihitharithi”   Praising wealth is serving mammon Meaning:Percieve that means brings meaningless motives in life.There is no contentment in life with money.This is an universal truth.The rich is also fearful to their sons.Whole world is running in this manner. Because of love for  more money than his requirement man is losing his intellectual common sense.He doesn’t know what he is doing.Selfishness is the root for getting more money.Iam or arrogance is the root cause for selfishness,it means Iam,me,mine,myself,it belongs to me.The amazing truth is that man has become slave to the money which was created from his own hands and this is a great amazement in all the wonders of the world.How bewildering this issue is?. "Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming upon you. Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. "(James 5:1-6). Dhanam moolam idam jagath ”Dhanam moolam idham jagath” A sanskrit phrase which means money is the root cause for everything in the world". Man requires money for his livelihood.How far it is truth?Money is required to man only upto fulfilling his requirements but the question is more money than requirements is means becomes meaningless motive. The Bible says:"Remove far from me falsehood and lying; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me, lest I be full and deny you and say, “Who is the Lord?” or lest I be poor and steal and profane the name of my God"(Prov 30:8-9). A dog is required to watch for the safety of a house,it’s sounds nice but “since it is of good breed, beautiful,like white bear,is delightful to be kissed like a kid  and the owner thinks that  anyone may rob it!” He will become a watchman to safeguard that dog.He probably raise from his sleep frequently and checks the dog whether it is in the premises or not? Thus the dog being the watchmen will become the boss and the owner become it’s watchmen.The sole purpose of keeping dog has been in futile and will be there any  great misfortune like this ? Those who make money as their slaves and gives  service to 100 people are the real wo/men.Those who  benefit all families are the real people.One who is selfish  and conceal money at various places and hinders its management is like fiend.Money can facilitate us (Its solely worldly matter) but Money cannot give you contentment this a spiritual matter.To perceive this things are important. Godliness -1 Tim 4:8 "My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don’t show favoritism. Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in shabby clothes also comes in. If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, “Here’s a good seat for you,” but say to the poor man, “You stand there” or “Sit on the floor by my feet,” have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?Listen, my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him? But you have insulted the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court? Are they not the ones who are slandering the noble name of him to whom you belong?If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right. But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers"(James 2:1-9). God or Mammon ? "For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come"(1 Tim4:8). "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. God or Mammon ?
