Perilous times-2 Tim 3:1-6 "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs"(I Tim 6:6-10). Love of money root of all evil-1 Tim 6:6-10 "But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God-- having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them" ( 2 Tim 3:1-6). The mentality of today's world is running after earning more money than the requirements.The more the earnings the more cravings for profits,the more profits the more cravings for extending the earning methods of profits.What is done witht money earned in millions ,billions & trillions? Does is anyway helpful for the implementation of divine purposes and uplifting the humanity from its various sufferings? Trust in God who richly provides us-1 Tim 6:17-19 "Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life"(1 Tim 6:17-19).  Once a God servant gave a tract to an young  man at a bus terminal.The young man being bolt from the blue  immediately asks what is this? God servant: It’s about eternity! Young  man: dumbfound asks what is eternity? God servant: sidetracking the issue of eternity,the God servant asks the youngman,what are you studying? Who is ruling your life? God or Mammon? Young  man:Iam doing engineering God servant: what will be your future plannings? Young  man:Getting better job ,getting married,to give birth to children,make them to study in a great business/engineering school, God servant: After that? Young  man:Making the marriage of sons,taking care of my grand children,their education,their future life,their marriages,meanwhile developing my wealth with the money I have earned. God servant:After that? What is after life after death? Young  man:What else? When I became  old will take rest around the beautiful places with the money I have earned. God servant:After that? Young  man;What else? I will become old and will be taking treatment in the hospitals to take care of my health. God servant:Aftert hat? Young  man: What else? I may die one day leaving all the beloved ones. Think eternity God servant:Fine! Have everthought of what would happen to your eternity once you die,Where will you spend your afterlife? My friend this is called eternity. Young  man: soundless for a while,I don’t have any idea after life. God servant: Then he started telling him about heaven and hell and said that running after money and earning wealth would become means meaningless motive if come short to the glory of eternal life. Believing in Jesus and his sacrificial death will bring salvation for eternity and forgiveness of all our sins.The true richess are the richess which have eternal means.                                                                                                               (To be continued..........)
