WHAT MOTIVATES YOU TO WITNESS ?

The wise win souls-Prov 11:30 THE FISH GATE -PART 11  God placed us here to witness for Him.Our post salvation experience should involve witnessing for the Lord.There is Biblical principles for witnessing.                                                                                                                “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.” (Prov 11:30).                                                                                                    “Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever" (Daniel 12:3).                                                    Make a pledge today-2 Cor 5:20 "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth"(Acts 1:8). "We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God"(2 Cor 5:20). Witnessing includes the opportunity of telling gospel to people with our lips,Print media,Internet evangelism, by arranging gospel meetings in our home and an example and impact of our lifestyle and attitude which influences an unbeliever in our day to day life to a greater extent. Does we have the right motivation for the gospel as Paul’s in the book of Roaman’s? “Iam under obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians,both to the wise and to the foolish.Thus,for my part,I am eager [ready] to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome.For Iam not ashamed of the gospel(Rom 1:14-16). We are debtors to preach gospel Motivational factor 1: “Iam under obligation” As the children of God and maturing believers we are partakers of the forgiveness of sin,Heavenly inheritance,every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ and of a personal relationship with God.We are delivered by God from Sin,Curses,Financial burdens and Diseases.Don’t we have the obligation to share this good news to others? For millions around the world still under the slave market of sin,curses,Financial burdens and diseases.People are destructing their lives with various trouble and our obligation to witness to those heavy laden people makes a great impact in the lives of people to think eternity. Motivational factor 2: “Iam eager” (Ready)!  Add caption Eagerness or readiness to fulfill the great commission shows our preparation and our motivation.If we are eager to witness we have many ways to witness.If you are eager you will witness in anyway even if you doesn’t have enough financial resources.Witnessing is between you and the Lord.God provides the logistics to fulfill His plan through you if you are eager to preach His word.King of Jeshurun ministry started with eagerness to preach the good news around the world thus globalizing the word with world wide web reaching thousands of people around the globe.King of Jeshurun is a faith based ministry started with faith and God is the source of all resources.His wisdom and knowledge no man can comprehend His faithfulness and miracles in our life. Don't be ever ashamed of gospel Motivational Factor 3: “ Iam not ashamed” How we will be ashamed of Christ when he died for us in our place and gave us eternal life?Many are ashamed today proclaiming the gospel in spite being saved.What does it means to be ashamed it’s nothing but having fear of being mocked by others for preaching the good news and fear of failure of our lifestyle engendered by ignorance of the word of God in our lives.When learning the word of God doesn’t become first priority in our lives other things of this worlds take place as priority,so we get confused and lose the right motivation to witness for God and thus today many Christian families and their children are living in the effect of cosmic diabolicus effect while the parents are God fearing and evangelistic in nature. Rethink amidst of pressures Pressure is another factor which stops the motivation of witnessing.Many believers are tender to endure the pressures or suffering for witnessing so they leave their motivation for witnessing.Pressures have never stopped paul to witness about God in phillipi when he had been there he had adverse circumstances he left phillipi ant arrived at Thessaloniki there Lord gave him a tremendous harvest of souls. "When they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessaloniki, where there was a Jewish synagogue. As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and proving that the Christhad to suffer and rise from the dead. “This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Christ,” he said. Some of the Jews were persuaded and joined Paul and Silas, as did a large number of God-fearing Greeks and not a few prominent women" (Acts 17:1-4). Now start right motivation to witness It will be similar in our lives pressures and adverse effects should not stumble our proper motivation for witnessing.If we are not fruitful at some places God will make you fruitful in some other places but never lose the motivation or never be ashamed of the gospel.Paul involves in both personal and mass evangelism can be a pattern or example for our witnessing life. "You know, brothers, that our visit to you was not a failure.We had previously suffered and been insulted in Philippi, as you know, but with the help of our God we dared to tell you his gospel in spite of strong opposition.For the appeal we make does not spring from error or impure motives, nor are we trying to trick you. On the contrary, we speak as men approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please men but God, who tests our hearts. You know we never used flattery, nor did we put on a mask to cover up greed—God is our witness. God placed us here to witness for Him.Our post salvation experience should involve witnessing for the Lord.There is Biblical principles for witnessing.
                                                                                                               “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.” (Prov 11:30).
